You can delete just a user or a user with all associated phone services.
NOTE: For networks that include various interfaces for managing users and services, the Flow Through Provisioning solution allows the administrator to configure and manage users and services from a single location. See for more information.
To delete a user
Go to the User
and Services Configuration form.
In the Search By First/Last Name Results tree, select the user that you want to delete (you can also perform a new search for the specific user's name), then click the displayed down arrow (alternatively, right-click the record).
NOTE: You can also delete a user from the Search By Number Results tree; however, in this view, you cannot delete users and associated phones at the same time. Option Delete User and Phones is not available.
From the drop-down list, select one of the following options:
Delete User only - only the selected user (without any associated phones) will be deleted.
Delete User and Phones - the user and all associated local phones will be deleted.
NOTES
If the selected user has remotely hosted services, the delete operation fails until all remotely hosted services are disassociated or deleted.
If any of the local associated phone services is attached to other users and you select Delete User only, the operation will delete the user but not the phone.
Users that have MiCollab services attached cannot be deleted from this form. If you attempt to delete such a user, an error message is displayed, which includes the "Open User in MiCollab" link. Clicking this link opens the MiCollab USP interface where the user can be deleted.
If a warning is displayed that deleting the user will also delete all associated phone services, click OK to confirm or Cancel to abort the deletion.
